Women deserve better answers about our mental health.
I’m Kristin Sargent, and my goal is to make a meaningful difference in improving women’s mental health.
I spent 20+ years in national security and defense technology, starting my career as an Army Air Defense Artillery Officer. I was good at figuring out how to connect the dots and get impossible things done for the U.S. government and technology companies supporting it.
Then in 2022, I had my first ever manic episode and spent 9 days in in-patient psychiatric care. It was my first experience navigating our mental health system, and I learned it was not designed for women like me.
I now write, speak, and build on behalf of all women seeking an easier path to stability, happiness, and wellness.
My story
What I'm buildingI’m building a business in women’s mental health, with a focus on getting women the right care under the right business model. I’m listening to women, clinicians, and industry insiders, and sharing the insights I learn along the way.
